Tablet VS Laptops

The Pros and Cons

In this technology driven world that we live in to get attached to a certain system or computer is asking for disappointment. There will always be a bigger, better, faster, lighter, and brighter computer out on the market just months after you buy yours. But that’s what’s so great about technology. We are always finding better technology to make our lives easier. With each change we do our homework so that we can provide you with dependable computer help in St. George, Utah.

It seems that the biggest change in the market over the years is the adaptation of tablets. Many computer users are trading their laptops in for tablets. And you’re probably wondering if you should do the same. We are going to go over what you get from each product so that you can better decide which one suits your lifestyle best.

The biggest benefits of having a laptop instead of a tablet is 1) the full keyboard 2) the hardware and 3) a better screen. The full keyboard provides faster and more accurate typing than a keyboard on the screen. And the bigger body of the laptop will of course have better hardware. If you need a lot of speed and memory, a laptop would probably be the best for your needs. Another consideration to think about is your vision. Those who have problems seeing should stay away from the tablet with it’s low quality and smaller screen.

With a laptop you can expect a screen of 13 inches or more. Laptops are also more durable than tablets. With a closed lid laptop you don’t have to worry about cracking a screen or scratching your display.

The tablet dominates over the laptop when it comes to 1) applications 2) special features 3) control of the screen and 4) size. Tablets are typically equipped with a 7-10 inch display and weigh about one pound. But don’t let the size fool you. Tablets can store all your music, photos, videos, and ebooks without a problem. For excessive memory you might need to purchase an external hard drive.

Remember that with a tablet the front screen is exposed. Without your touch screen on your device it’s useless. So you will need to purchase some external protection to ensure that your tablet is safe from drops, spills, and whatever else might come your way.
